Special conditions apply to powder blenders to be mounted in Isolators. Pharmatech have experience in the design of blenders to be used with isolators from small to large. 

Drive units for small quantities can be mounted within the isolator. For larger loads or where there is little space  the drive unit can be mounted behind the isolator on its own stand with only the drive connection through the rear wall. 

Special attention needs to be paid to requirements such as handling restraints within the isolator, transmission of vibration to the isolator, integration of safety barriers, seal systems to maintain pressure differentials and Pharmatech have the experience. 

Controls will be remote and will be sited where required and tailored to suit the application from simple manual controls to full domain integration with 21CFR electronic signatures.
